Job Description Summary  

Essential duties and responsibility include the following but are not limited to listed items as other duties may be assigned: 

  • Answering customer questions, providing information, taking and processing orders and addressing complaints 
  • Answering phone calls and calling customers and vendors to follow up on appointments and deliveries 
  • Compiling, maintaining and updating company records 
  • Managing office inventory and working with vendors to ensure the regular supply of office materials 
  • Setting up appointments, scheduling meetings, distributing reports and managing the correspondence between the office and external bodies 
  • Compiling and maintaining records of office business transactions 
  • Operating office equipment including printers, copiers, fax machines and multimedia instruments 
  • Understand administrative tasks associated with remediation, tasks of hazmat in residential homes, offices, apartments, privately owned vehicles, company vehicles, police vehicles, and in open spaces.   
  • Job also entails non hazmat understanding of painting, company vehicles, stocking and receiving supplies, and participating in community relations. 
  • Attend and participate in daily On-site Job safety and hazard meetings. 
  • Knowledge of personal protective equipment found in 29 CFR1910.132 through 1910.138.

Work Activities

  • Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documentation. 
  • Have knowledge on all equipment used by Spaulding Decon, LLC including but not limited to: air monitoring, sampling, power tools, negative air machine, flood pumper, etc. 
  • Follow written protocols for the clean-up, removal, and disposal of residue from methamphetamine drug labs.  
  • Follow written protocols on removal, cleaning, and disposal of bodily fluids, blood, mold, animal feces/carcasses, sewer debris, and sharps (hypodermic needles). 
  • Answer phones as needed, obtain client information, arrange appointments, answer inquiries, take messages for owner or employees and record name, time of call, nature of business and person called upon.

Operations Technician - Tampa

As one of the nation’s leaders in the crime scene cleanup industry, we at Spaulding Decon are committed to providing a thorough, hassle-free cleanup experience for individuals and businesses across the country. Using our proprietary cleaning products and state-of-the-art tools, we can restore homes and businesses alike – no matter what the cause of the damage and grime. In fact, we have provided a wide variety of cleanup services and related support for more than a decade, including: hoarding cleanup, accidental death, suicides, general biohazards, viral disinfections, drug lab cleanups, water damage restoration, and mold remediation. 

Those already certified in mold remediation are desired. Solid work history and no criminal background required. PART-TIME, TEMPORARY, ON CALL. 

  • MUST live within 30 minutes of the office  
  • MUST be able to work nights, weekends, and holiday  
  • Hep B Shot – at least the first of the three-shot series  
  • Clean cut, drug-free, be able to pass a background check  
  • Ability to work in personal protective equipment – a respirator, Tyvek suit, gloves, and rubber boots are required on the majority of our jobs  
  • Ability to do physical work and can lift 50lbs or more- moving furniture, removing flooring, cleaning, scrubbing, moving equipment, etc.

About You:

Franchise Development Manager - Tampa

About You:
Franchise Development Manager partners with the CEO in the management of the full life cycle of a
franchisee from prospect to approval. This position will play a key role in contributing to the
development of the company’s emerging franchise program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be
• Research, analyze and create targeted list of prospective candidates based on our ideal
candidate profile(s) and use to gauge interest in the Spaulding Decon franchise
• Conduct initial outreach to prospective franchisee leads and provide information about

• Manage and maintain prospect information in our Franchise Soft Management (FSM)
• Manage the information flow of prospective candidates through the entire franchise
process, ensuring all documentation is received, accurately maintained, and

• Review franchisee applications and submit suitable franchise candidate file for review.
• Prepare franchise candidate file for CEO approval.
• Schedule and coordinate the Discovery Day

Staff Accountant - Tampa

About You:

We are seeking a driven individual that is motivated by client satisfaction and continued success to join our Finance Team at our Tampa FL office.

This role is responsible for assisting the Finance department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization. This position reports directly to the Financial Controller.  This role is expected to maintain financial reports, records and general ledgers, prepare and analyze budgets and perform general bookkeeping. Additionally, responsible for billing activities, such as accounts payable and accounts receivable. 

Essential Duties:

  • Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
  • Determines proper handling if financial transaction and approves transactions within designated limits.
  • Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries.
  • Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.
  • Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
  • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
  • Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers.

About the job 

Spaulding Decon is looking for a Franchise Business Consultant (FBC) that will provide consultation services and support to assigned Franchisees in the broad success areas of customer service, revenue growth, profitability, management growth, and staff development. FBCs actively seek to establish, train, advise and develop Franchisees per Spaulding Decon’s policies, bulletins, manuals, and standards. The Franchise Business Consultant creates positive working relationships which develop and promote high Franchisee morale and business performance within the assigned locations. 

Major Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and complete check-in phone calls, virtual training sessions, and complete conference regularly calls to provide training in each area of support. All coaching sessions will need to be documented using our internal CRM for easy task follow-up. 
  • As a thriving franchise, we improve overall customer service; FBCs must actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the Franchise/customer experience, monitor franchisee performance through key performance indicators, and coach for improvement. 

Revenue Growth: 

  • Successfully assist Franchise operations in continually providing advice and targeted training to maintain Spaulding Decon’s continued track record of competitive performance. 
  • Utilize financial data to analyze key metrics while planning immediate and long-term goals.
